Square Holes Sweater

Here it is...I finally finished it today. It's suppose to have buttons but I like it the way it is. This is from Modular Knits by Iris Schreier. My advice to anyone who buys a knitting book: CHECK THE WEB FOR ERRORS! My book was a first edition and the corrections for my sweater didn't appear until the 3rd edition came out. I'm not going to tell you what was wrong with it. I think it fits fine! This yarn is also from Iris. It's Artyarns Merino. It was my payment for knitting for her new book.

Robin, your sweater looks wonderful -- and it fits you very well!

Funny to see your picture, I always saw you with dark hair. Now, if I cross the river and bump into you at a yarn store, I'll recognize you!

Love your modular sweater too - colors are so pretty.

Robin, great job on your sweater! Nice to see you and your boys in "living color" too! I pictured you with long dark hair, so I'll adjust my brain accordingly! :>) Thanks for sharing!

Hi Robin -- great sweater!! That pattern speaks to me. What size did you make please? I will check my book edition before I attempt, though.

Have followed the saga of the sweater on KnitTalk. It is fabulous.
FYI The Knitting Basket has moved to AZ. One Fine Yarn sells Irene's patterns on their site, and I shall be leaving Friday for a weeklong workshop given by Irene in San Miguel, Mexico. She will be teaching a technique incorporating fabric with knitting. She is a fantastic teacher.

I pictured you with long brown hair! Funny the impressions we get just from email.

Great sweater--been looking forward to pictures of it after following its progress for so long on KnitTalk.

Robin, your sweater turned out great. I'm so glad you shared pictures of it finished. We KnitTalker feel like we 'know' this sweater, and you. Nice to see what you look like, too. Lovely job on the sweater. Wear it in good health!
