Years ago I had 4 Afghan Hounds in the house all at once. What fun we had with them. Now they are all gone and I have 2 cats. Much easier to travel as they can stay by themselves for days with food and water in large bowls and they don't need to be walked. Yeah.
Have fun with the dog. I'll be back to check up on the progress.~ ~ Ahrisha ~ ~https://www.blogger.com/profile/11345454060454954640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16532092.post-21434513366530589662009-02-09T03:46:00.000-05:002009-02-09T03:46:00.000-05:00I think you need nicer friends! :(It will be okay,...I think you need nicer friends! :(

It will be okay, and soon enough you'll be wondering how you lived without Shadow in your life. And those walks? Gotta be good for your health and well-being.

I think he's adorable and while there will likely be ups and downs, he seems like a winner to me.

Enjoy!AmyShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15491367062875954080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16532092.post-63889781965927732082009-02-08T22:29:00.000-05:002009-02-08T22:29:00.000-05:00Didn't you say he was owned by a woman previously?...Didn't you say he was owned by a woman previously? If so that could account for why he's taken to you. I agree with Pat, he's gorgeous! Sounds like you're off to a wonderful start with him, and glad he's getting you out for walks. Keep up the great work with him, it sounds like you're on the right track to successful pet ownership.
Maybe your friends are jealous!Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13257924996977119067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16532092.post-87814509671015424902009-02-08T20:53:00.000-05:002009-02-08T20:53:00.000-05:00Oh He is beautiful!!
